Asked and answered

How is Scout different from a CRM?

A CRM is where you log deals. Scout reads the companies in it, and can push one to Affinity or Attio.

Where does the information come from?

Public web sources, with every signal linked to its source. Company data adds licensed people, headcount, traffic and funding records.

Can other funds see what I watch?

No. Tearsheets are shared public research. What you watch, your notes and your judgments are yours alone.

Do I need the Deal Desk to use Scout?

No. They are separate products. Neither needs the other.
